Happy Birthday To Who?

It WAS a beautiful cake!  Matt had his "worst birthday ever" this year, he worked until after midnight, but the party must go on.  David stopped by after work to celebrate with the absent b-day boy and brought over the gorgeous "Crumbs" cake.  We ate it, of course, and celebrated in his honor.  Our little sweet tooth took the party one step further... a huge crater was made right through the Happy Birthday Matt.  The evidence can be seen below!
"CAKE!!!"

Gym Time

Margo is in a toddler gymnastic/music class every Friday morning.  She has learned to jump, climb, swing, run, sing...
Her nanny, June, helps her with the balance beam and rings.  Of course, this has made her a bit more brave at home - climbing on the table, window sills, registers...

Perhaps a budding gymnast is in our future, or a little dare devil!

The Circus

The children and I ventured to the circus at Madison Square Garden while Matt was away.  No recession there!  Jackson enjoyed the stunts, tigers, elephants, and snow cones.  Margo squealed with delight at her first viewing of horses and elephants.  She just couldn't sustain her excitement until the end!

Jackson is 5!!!

We had a great Ben 10 inspired birthday party at our apartment.  It was small, and we missed having family, but Jackson had a great time!
Presents are always a hit.  Here he is showing off his new Ben 10 video game.  (We have already moved on from our recent Ben 10 obsession.  Now we love Monsters v. Aliens)
For his birthday weekend, we went to CoCo Key Water Resort in Connecticut.  An entire indoor water playplace.  The children love it, and it does have a bar, so we are all happy at the end of the day.
Of course, we do get tired too!

Florida in February

We spent a week with grandma and grandpa in Naples this February for much needed R&R.
We played in the water daily.. by the pool, the beach, the bathtub!
Margo does not like anything on her hands or feet - including sand!
Jackson is the exact opposite.  He prefers to make sand angels!

Different take on getting our nails done...

As many of you know, we spend a lot of our weekends in Connecticut with the Charnins.  Rochelle and I always make a deal with our husbands, they go to play bball at the YMCA and relive their intramural days, and we get a little mommy time away!  This time, we went searching for a great pedicure, but what we got was a different type of nail!  The humungous nail in our tire was easily identified and we made it back home before it went flat!

Nothing Shy of Crazy...

Well, over the past four months we have had no shortage of celebrations, minor disasters, work, and vacations.  I have FINALLY found the time and motivation to upload the many photos we have taken.  In the past few months, we have celebrated the boys birthdays, traveled to Florida (twice), celebrated Easter and Margo's baptism.  Little moments of mischief were also plentiful as you can see by the two photos posted here.  Through it all, I have learned a lot! For example, keys are difficult to remove from the toilet!
