The Rivalry

I have been going to the Hope/Calvin Basketball games since I was a young child.  So, it is no surprise that we went to the telecast at a nice bar in the city.  We had over 40 people and filled the entire bar.  It was great to have a little bit of West Michigan for two hours.  Unfortunately, we lost in the last seconds!
We are promoting Hope College to our youngsters too.  Ever so subtle with the themed sweatshirts!  They had a great time running around the bar and cheering on our team.

Hair Wars

Mothers and their children have had disagreements about hair for centuries.  I didn't think mine would start so early!  Margo has a passion for color and yogurt.  She actually does get some in her mouth.
Jackson, on the other hand, has always had gorgeous hair.  It just does not like winter hats!

Holiday Celebration

Working in Queens, I have encountered diversity like no other.  Over 170 different languages are spoken in this county.  We also have a very diverse group of peope working in our clinic.  Each year the entire clinic shuts down for a Holiday Celebration!  Music, food, dancing, drinks!  It lasts for hours.
I was able to trial some different foods - Indian, Russian, and Jamaican to name a few.  I actually ate ox tales!  They are quite tasty, until you actually think about what you are eating.  I chose to avoid the Jamaican fried fish - it had a face!
